Why Bespoke Trendy Hotel is My Favourite Hotel in Hanoi

I have high standards when it comes to hotels, and I’m extremely indecisive.

My research usually starts on Agoda, then continues on Google Images, where I look for more photos of the rooms, the facilities and, most importantly, the breakfast. I have spent a slightly embarrassing amount of time zooming in on buffet photos to assess the quality before booking.

I’m also looking for more than a good hotel. Hanoi has hundreds of those. I’m looking for a unique experience, whether that means direct pool access from my room, an unusual theme or design concept, the best rooftop bar in the city or sashimi for breakfast.

Bespoke Trendy Hotel first caught my attention because of its exceptionally high guest ratings. Some reviews also mentioned complimentary extras, although I had very little idea what kind of treat I was in for.

It is officially a four-star boutique hotel. The service deserves six.

Why I Booked This Boutique Hotel in Hanoi

The excellent reviews were the main reason I booked Bespoke Trendy Hotel. Its location also looked convenient for exploring central Hanoi and reaching attractions such as Hanoi Train Street.

Hotels in Hanoi are highly competitive, which works in your favour as a traveller. Properties put real effort into giving you a reason to choose them, and Bespoke Trendy Hotel certainly found several.

During my stay, I received a personal concierge, a complimentary shellac manicure, a generous restaurant voucher, fresh milk and ice delivered to my room, fresh pho at breakfast and staff who remembered my coffee order.

A Personal Concierge Who Helps Beyond Hanoi

The concierge service extended far beyond answering questions about the hotel.

My concierge offered recommendations for Hanoi and help with planning the next part of my trip through Vietnam. Her support also remained available after I checked out, which was especially useful when I was still making decisions about where to go and how to organise everything.

Each morning, she sent me a message wishing me a good morning and asking whether I needed any help that day.

Hotels often describe their service as personalised. Here, you receive one specific person you can contact throughout your stay and beyond it.

Freebies That Made My Family Group Chat Ask, “WTF, Was the Stay Free as Well?”

The complimentary extras went far beyond the usual welcome drink.

My stay included a free manicure with shellac. The hotel also gave me a food voucher for its restaurant, and the value was enough to order the salmon steak, the most expensive dish on the menu.

The One Detail Every Other Hotel Should Copy

I’m a sucker for coffee. I can’t live without my coffee in the morning, and I’m sure many other travellers feel the same.

Hotels usually provide tea and coffee in the room, but fresh milk is a different story. You might get milk powder or creamer, even though many hotel rooms already have a refrigerator.

For someone who drinks her coffee with milk, this is an admittedly enormous problem.

Bespoke Trendy Hotel solved it.

The hotel announced that fresh milk and ice could be delivered to my room whenever I wanted them. I simply had to give the reception a quick call. With the coffee already available in the room, I could make my own iced coffee whenever I wanted one.

Why doesn’t every hotel do that?

I’ve stayed at many five-star hotels, yet I have never come across this service anywhere else. If there are any hotel managers reading this, please take notes.

What Breakfast Is Like

I take hotel breakfasts seriously.

What I look for is quality, rather than a buffet with a huge selection of average food. If the quality looks questionable, I’d rather skip the hotel breakfast and find a good café nearby.

At Bespoke Trendy Hotel, fresh pho was prepared for me as soon as I sat down. They also offer eggs cooked to your liking, including eggs Benedict, which happens to be my favourite, plus a full breakfast buffet.

A small gesture that goes a long way, and one that makes me feel at home: the staff remembered my coffee order.

Is This a Good Location for Exploring Hanoi?

Bespoke Trendy Hotel is well located for exploring central Hanoi and reaching popular attractions such as Hanoi Train Street.

The location made it easy to spend my days exploring the city, visiting cafés and trying local food. Many central areas are accessible on foot, while Grab covers the rest.

For a first visit to Hanoi, it is a very convenient base.

Is This Boutique Hotel in Hanoi Worth Booking?

Bespoke Trendy Hotel is officially a four-star hotel, yet the overall experience feels closer to five stars.

You receive personal support from a concierge, a good-quality breakfast, generous complimentary extras and staff who remember your preferences. You also get a convenient location for exploring central Hanoi.

This hotel sits in my personal top five hotel experiences.

The personal concierge, the good morning messages, the free shellac manicure, the restaurant voucher, the fresh pho, the remembered coffee order and the fresh milk service all contributed to that ranking.

For travellers looking for excellent service and a unique upscale hotel experience in Hanoi at a four-star price, Bespoke Trendy Hotel is my clear recommendation.

Would I stay here again?

Absolutely.

If I returned to Hanoi tomorrow, I’d happily stay at Bespoke Trendy Hotel again. The combination of thoughtful service, excellent value and a fantastic location made it one of my favourite hotel stays in Vietnam.
